Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday – Jeconda Arnold

Happy Friday, Femmebabes! I hope you have had a great week! After a brief hiatus we are back with Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday.

This week’s Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday Femmetastic Femmetrepreneur is Jeconda Arnold with Nerium International & Pruvit Ventures.

Jeconda FSF

Jeconda Arnold is a Petroleum Engineer by trade and an entrepreneur at heart. She’s always had a passion for helping others achieve greatness. Optimal health is something everyone holds dear and strives to achieve. A healthy body, healthy skin, healthy mind, a healthly living; these are all things Ms. Arnold can help people accomplish. Ms. Arnold got started with Pruvit in February 2017 and Nerium in February 2018. She has a true passion to cultivate and challenge others to meet their full potential. Through Pruvit and Nerium Jeconda Arnold can do just that. She says, “When people love themselves, they are their best selves and that is when they are free to fully shine and do the amazing things they are meant to in the world. I believe that bringing out the best in people will guarantee success 100% of the time. The reason I chose these products to promote is simply because of results.”

Ms. Arnold had looked for years for a weight loss, lifestyle solution – tried product after product without results. When she finally tried Keto-os by Pruvit she received the results she desired. “I’ve always struggled with my weight and once I found a solution I knew I had to share with others the life changing results this product provides. I went from a size 18 to a size 8 and still trucking, no more anxiety meds and zero heart burn.”

Jeconda found Nerium the same way – trying product after product with no results and not getting any younger until she tried the Nerium Products. “After two weeks I knew these products were the real deal, and I had to share them with the world.” Nerium offers an advanced anti-aging skin care line that is best in its class. Real results, real people, real business model from a company who encourages everyone to live happy.

When she isn’t helping people improve their health and lives, she enjoys spending time with her family. She met her husband Josh in Lafayette, LA although their parents only live 15 minutes from each other in Ohio. Jeconda and Josh got married in 2009. Like many other families, they found themselves struggling with infertility issues. They were blessed with the opportunity to adopt their beautiful baby boy in December 2016. His name is Sutton Joshua and at 16-months-old he has brought so much love and joy to their lives. The Arnold family also consists of a fur baby named Bruiser. Bruiser is a 7-year-old beagle dog / escape artist. He likes to run and does so every chance he gets.

Jeconda also enjoys spending time with her friends, golfing, listening to music, attending concerts, and singing her butt off. Ms. Jeconda Arnold admits she isn’t very good at golf or singing, “but, man, it’s fun!” She also has the claim to fame for taking third place in a hot wing eating contest. She ate 30 wings in 7 minutes. “I still love hot wings. Well, anything really hot.”

Currently her business and personal goals are to build residual income through real estate, network marketing, and potential franchise opportunities.

The greatest obstacle that Ms. Arnold has faced as an entrepreneur and business woman has been “finding a support system and believing in yourself when not everyone else does.”

Ms. Jeconda Arnold has the following advice for women who want to get into the business world and become entrepreneurs:

“Never stop growing. Build strong relationships. Be authentic. Ask yourself ‘What are the small things you can start doing today to make you better tomorrow and get you closer to where you want to be?'”

Her favorite motivational quotes and mantras are:

“If you have to choose between being kind and being right, choose being kind and you will always be right”

“Be You, Be True, Love what You Do”

“Be the reason someone smiles today”

Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday – Kristen Williams

Happy Friday, Femmebabes! It’s time again for a Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday!

This week’s Femmetastic Femmetrepreneur is Kristen Williams with Rodan + Fields.

kristen williams rodan fields femmetrepreneurs spotlight friday

Kristen Williams decided to become a Rodan + Fields Independent Consultant because of her own experiences with sensitive skin. “I have had extremely sensitive skin my whole life. When I found the Soothe Regimen, through Rodan and Fields, and saw what it did for my skin, I knew I needed to share the products with everyone I know.”

Kristen and her mother went into business together selling Rodan + Fields products almost two years ago. Kristen calls her mother and her grandparents “my whole world.” She says, “They are the ones who raised me and have helped me through almost every obstacle in my life.”

Her personal and business goals are intertwined right now. “I would love to grow the Rodan + Fields business so I can retire myself and my mom within the next five years. By getting to this point I will be able to focus on my passions in life.”

Before starting her Rodan + Fields company Ms. Williams attended the University of North Florida where she received a Communications degree with an emphasis on Public Relations. She also works weather and catastrophe claims for a major insurance company and runs a blog called Touch of Sparkle.

Ms. Williams says that the greatest obstacle she has faced going into business for herself is people not believing she can achieve success with Rodan + Fields. “They look at it as another multi-level marketing scheme and you can fail at any time.”

She offers this piece of advice for women who want to start their own business:

“My advice for women who want to break into the business world is to start now. There will never be a right moment, there will never be a big flashing sign telling you to start now, you just need to go outside of your comfort zone and begin your adventure.”

In her free time Kristen enjoys running, traveling, shopping, and finding new adventures. Kristen, who was born in Germany, calls herself a foodie and a lover of all things sparkly. She also admits to being a little Disney obsessed.

Her favorite Motivational Quote is:

“You are about to become everything they feared you would be.”

Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday – Alicia Kee

Happy Friday, Femmebabes! I hope you have had a great week! Did you have the opportunity to participate in the Boss Babe Societe Giveaway? Check it out here!

This week’s Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday Femmetastic Femmetrepreneur is Alicia Kee with Oil Thyme.

alicia kee oil thyme femmetrepreneurs spotlight friday

Alicia Kee started her essential oil business one and half years ago. She began her business with the goal of helping others live a toxic free lifestyle. Oil Thyme is a community for people who want to live healthier lives. At Oil Thyme, Ms. Kee helps families evaluate their health needs and replace toxic items with essential oils. She wants families to be educated and able to be their own health advocates. The Oil Thyme motto is “There is always Thyme for Oils.”

Ms. Kee decided to go into business for herself because she has the same goal that many of us do: to be financially free. She has found that in this journey as a business woman her greatest obstacle has been not being taken seriously.

Before starting Oil Thyme, Alicia attended Humboldt State University where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Marine Fisheries.

Ms. Kee lives with her daughter and son. She says, “Though our family is small, we have created a family with friends that have come into our lives.” When she isn’t working Alicia enjoys watching movies, playing volleyball, and participating in roller derby. In her life she has had the opportunity to study in Baja, Mexico and swim with whale sharks.

“Do it!” Ms Kee says when asked what advice she has for women who want to break into the business world. “It might be scary at first but completely worth it in the end. Find others to grow with, most of the time family and friends will hold you back to ‘protect’ you.”

Her favorite motivational quote or mantra is:

“Everything happens for a reason.”

Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday – Hannah Stenson

Happy Friday, Femmetrepreneurs! I hope this week has been another profitable and productive one for you.

This week’s Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday Femmetastic Femmetrepreneur is Hannah Stenson with Rebuilding Foundations.

img_0061

Hannah Stenson is the owner and operator of Rebuilding Foundation where she helps individuals build a solid professional foundation. She is a Human Resources educator and coach who actually enjoys interviews! Interview strategy, interview prep, teaching the theory behind interview questions, how to ace a phone screen, interview mindset work, how to clean up your resume, post-interview debriefs, the basics of LinkedIn, and diving into your work personality type are just some examples of different education or coaching sessions that Ms. Stenson offers individuals who come to her for help at Rebuilding Foundations. Along with helping people get the job or promotion they are seeking, Hannah also teaches business owners how to interview candidates, how to create a great interview process, and she offers interviewing and candidate screening services as well.

When asked why she got into the HR business, Hannah replied, “There is so much information, and often times bad information, about how to interview, how to make a resume, etc. I love to introduce the basics, create a solid foundation, and watch each person grow from there. Interviews should not be this unknown, scary thing. You can walk into an interview prepared with an arsenal of excellent interview answers, a killer resume, and a clear vision of what the interviewer needs from you – and I can help with that. I want people to have wild success in their life, and for many, that starts with their career.”

Before starting Rebuilding Foundation in August of 2017, Hannah Stenson got her Human Resources Management degree from Baylor (where she also met her husband). She has continuously worked in the HR field since 2015. She worked for two Fortune 50 companies and a luxury car dealership as well as consulted on projects for entrepreneurs, a large hospital, an insurance group, a tech startup, and many individual professionals. After conducting hundreds of interviews, Ms. Stenson repeatedly saw well qualified people fail to get the job they interviewed for due to fixable mistakes that they made during the interview process. It was this realization that led her to create her own HR coaching business.

In the future Ms. Stenson want to create more businesses. She says, “I love creating and setting them [businesses] up as well as meeting all the new clients. My next project is a feminine health physical-product-based company.”

Boundaries are what Hannah names as her biggest obstacle as an entrepreneur. She quotes Brene Brown saying “’daring to set boundaries is having the courage to love ourselves.’ When you are a young, female professional often times people will disregard your experience. Be kind, but never second guess your skills.”

Ms. Stenson offers this advice for women looking to start their own business:

“Make a plan and find someone to keep you accountable. Procrastination and not meeting your goals is completely avoidable. Always be ethical- in how your business operates, how much you pay your employees/ contractors, how you gain a following… trust is so easy to break, and nothing is worth compromising for. Surround yourself with other business owners and share your knowledge. Almost everything can be found with the right Google search so save someone the time and answer the question. Keep a list to see how far you have come. Often, we forget that we started at zero, and it makes a great motivator for the hard days to see how far you have come.”

When Hannah isn’t busy coaching people for their dream job interview she enjoys cooking and baking. She also loves yellow flowers, dinosaurs, and drinking a cold margarita while munching on chips and salsa. She also dreams of owning a Doodle puppy one day.

Her Favorite Motivational Quote Is:

Ten years from now, make sure you can say that you chose this life, you did not settle for it.

Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday – Jessica Stadler

Happy Friday, Femmes! Another week of hustle and grind is coming to an end. I hope, as always, that this week has been productive and profitable for you.

Today’s Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday Femmetastic Femmetrepreneur is Jessica Stadler with Ass by Jess.

Ass by Jess Femmestastic Femmetrepreneur

Jessica Stadler started Ass by Jess almost two years ago but has been in the fitness industry for roughly six years. Ass by Jess is a fitness program designed to help you lose fat and build muscle to gain sexy curves. The Ass by Jess motto is: “Ass is a must; the rest is a plus.” Jessica explains the meaning behind the motto, “Meaning that I focus on booty workouts because who doesn’t want a booty? But I also focus on other exercises to tone abs, upper body, cardio, etc.”

Ms. Stadlers says that she got into the health and fitness industry because she loves teaching others how to feel confident, sexy, and strong through workout programs, nutrition, apparel, etc. “I love helping others see results physically, mentally, and emotionally throughout their process of working with me. I train clients to build habits and live a balanced life while learning these tools for long term results.”Jessica Stadler Femmetastic Femmetrepreneur

Eventually Ms. Stadler wants to manage multiple trainers that would be in charge of her virtual training sessions. When asked about her ultimate life and business goal, Jessica’s goals are similar to many women who go into business for themselves. She wants to be able to travel while still having the business run properly. Jessica says, “I want to build a team of amazing people that have the same vision and want to help more people feel strong, confident, and sexy.”

Also, Ass by Jess now offers fitness boxes! Every three months you will be sent fun fitness surprises to help you along your fitness journey. You can find more information here.

Before starting Ass by Jess, Ms. Stadler worked for multiple corporate gyms and country club gyms. She made sure that she was working somewhere and getting income before she started her company. This way she was able to focus on her business as a side hustle without having to stress about money while building it. Jessica also used to be a model, a photographer, and she coordinated weddings. She received her Associate of Arts Degree from a design school.

Her greatest obstacle in business has been seeing the business shift. She has had to maintain an open mind regarding her vision for the business. “Things change and you have to be willing to adapt and grow with the changes, so I have learned to be flexible and allow my business to develop the way it’s meant to develop. This is hard because I don’t always like the changes but I’ve learned to seek the greatness within obstacles.”

Ms. Stadler offers this advice for women who want to go into business for themselves:

“Be patient. (This one took a long time for me to grasp….) Enjoy the process and the journey of developing a business. It is going to shift constantly, be up and down, and basically be an emotional roller coaster. LOVE what you do! If you don’t love it and you are not passionate then you will not stick with it when its not a rainbow kind of day. Surround yourself with people who will love and support you because it will not be easy and it will take sacrifices. If you are around similar people then they will support every part of this journey with you and offer their help and advice.”

In her free time Jessica enjoys exploring and going on adventures, trying new things, going for walks, and socializing with friends.

Her favorite motivational quote is:

“Be the kind of woman who makes other women want to up their game.” Bossbabe.inc

Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday – Emma Quinn

Happy Friday, Femmebabes! It’s time again for a Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday!

This week’s Femmetastic Femmetrepreneur is Emma Quinn with Piffy & Egg.

Emma Quinn Piffy & Egg Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday

Piffy & Egg is a crafts business created to aid the charity: Mind. Initially set up to sell handmade art, the business has grown and evolved into an online platform for mental health awareness and education. Each piece is custom-made and personal to you. Piffy & Egg provides you with the opportunity to write to them with ideas and design requests based on the gift receiver’s personality and style. The talented artisans at Piffy & Egg will then create the perfect gift for you. Piffy & Egg aims to grow so that others who have turned to art therapy during their mental health journey can share their stories and sell their work if they wish to do so. This fabulous company also does commissioned work and has designed a digital bundle for a leading design company and a local composer’s latest EP cover.

Emma Quinn received both of her degrees from Northumbria University in Newcastle, England. She achieved a BSc in Biology a Masters in Nursing. After graduation Emma landed amrewarding job in Cardiothoracic intensive care, but she knew that is wasn’t meant to be her forever job. Emma continues to practice in nursing to keep her skills up while she runs Piffy & Eggs.

She also had a whole host of other jobs prior to becoming an entrepreneur- waitressing, outdoor retail sales assistant, and zoological aquarist. When asked about what led her to quit her past jobs and start her own business Emma says, “I have enjoyed all of my jobs for different reasons but there was always something missing; I hadn’t really considered my dream job or knew what that looked like until I took some space to figure it out. It exists! I wanted to be my own boss, so I became her. I wanted to be creative, so I allowed myself to be. I wanted to help others, so I made peace with myself first.”

Ms. Quinn created her first copper piece in August 2017 following a severe mental health breakdown. She was in a creative flurry of redecorating rooms and frantically clearing things out and needed something to look at to bring some warmth to a room that was also orderly and clean. The geometric style worked wonderfully and created a great minimalist yet playful image. But it wasn’t until February 2018 that Ms. Quinn considered nurturing this passion into a business after a lot of encouragement from friends.

Piffy & Egg will be launching officially on August 11th this year with the motto “Creating happiness through art.”

If you are like me, you are wondering where the name “Piffy & Egg” comes from. Ms. Quinn explains, “The brand name, Piffy and Egg, is actually mine and my best friend’s nicknames for each other! We were giggling so much and making piggy noises in the back of the car when we were younger which developed in to “Piffy” over time. “Egg”, we can’t really explain… That’s me!”

Ms. Quinn names herself as her greatest obstacle when it comes to becoming an entrepreneur. “I struggled with really low self-esteem and confidence for such a long time and as a result I didn’t have any self-belief. This held me back and filled me with excuses not to start my business- ‘you aren’t good enough,’ ‘it’s unrealistic,’ “no one will buy into you.’ Overcoming these challenges took a long time and was by no means easy. After stripping everything back and getting to the root of my unhappiness, I realized that being kinder to myself was well overdue. Now instead of saying ‘I can’t,’ I say I can. Instead of ‘What if,’ I ask, ‘what’s next?’ I allowed myself freedom to think how I wanted to think and it has completely changed my life.”

Emma Quinn offers this piece of advice for women who want to break into the business world, “Believe in yourself. There are a thousand sayings that are motivating and inspiring, but this one is the most important for me. You need to trust in your ideas, goals and visions and see yourself as a success – once you see her, you can become her.”

Emma grew up on the coast of North East England. In her free time, Emma loves to be outside – rain or shine! She goes out to the beach to think and clear her head. She enjoys kayaking, climbing, and hiking too.

Her favorite motivational quote is:

“It’s OK if you fall down and lose your spark. Just make sure that when you get back up, you rise as the whole damn fire.” – Collette Werden.

Their launch party will be on August 11th this summer and they can’t wait to create some happiness for you!

Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday – Jessica Dutton

Happy Friday, Femmetrepreneurs! Hope you had a productive week!

This week’s Femmetrepreneurs Spotlight Friday Femmetastic Business Woman is Jessica Dutton.

img_9560

Jessica Dutton is one busy and femmetastic Femetrepreneur, with many spinning plates.

Jessica operates Jubilee Music, a music studio specializing in early childhood development and creative, educational strategies for private and group instruction. Jessica Dutton has taught music, choir, voice, and piano in Northwest Arkansas since 2004 and loves sharing music with people of all ages. She studied music education at the University of Arkansas and has a Master’s Degree in Music Education from Boston University. Jessica discovered Music Together soon after the birth of her son, Isaiah. While she was familiar with research about early childhood music experiences, she was amazed to witness the profound impact that music had on her own little one from the very beginning of his life. She sought out a method that would help support his natural musical development and was such a huge fan of the Music Together approach that she wanted to share it with others. Jessica completed her Music Together teacher training in Spring 2015 and began Jubilee Music to help reach the Northwest Arkansas community with the joy of music. Jubilee Music’s philosophy is that all children (and all people!) are musical and deserve the opportunity to experience music-making. Jessica Dutton hopes to continue to expand Jubilee Music and bring the Northwest Arkansas community even more opportunities to live a musical life.

The femmetastic Jessica Dutton also runs an online boutique, Beautiful Besos. Beautiful Besos offers comfortable, stylish clothes for the modern woman (sizes XS-3X) and a full line of skin care and cosmetics. Beautiful Besos was launched out of Jessica’s desire to find herself a new style that fit both her personal fashion sense and her new life as a working mom–something functional but fun, stylish but simple. During her personal fashion journey, Jessica discovered some first-rate skin care and long-lasting cosmetics from SeneGence/LipSense and the fresh, flattering designs from Amelia James. Jessica became a consultant for these companies and now uses her Beautiful Besos Boutique to share these amazing products and beautiful clothes along with her favorite makeup and fashion tools, tips, and tricks with other ladies.

Along with her other projects, Jessica is also a contributor for the Northwest Arkansas Moms Blog. The NW Arkansas Moms Blog is a parenting website offering the latest information on family friendly activities in the area, parenting advice, and stories about motherhood.

Originally from Texas, Jessica Dutton now resides in Lowell, AR with her Spanish teaching hubby, two boys (ages 1&3), and her crazy cat, Mambo. In her free time, she enjoys filling up her coffee cup (again!) while contemplating this rare thing called “free time.” She sings, plays the piano, clarinet, ukulele, and guitar, and enjoys making music with her family. Jessica is a polka dot enthusiast, coffee connoisseur, and believes that everything is better in floral print. She also admits to being slightly obsessed with adorable llamas.

The Femmetrepreneur Community is proud to call Jessica Dutton one of our own and we wish her much success and happiness in her future.
